Planning Team Suggestion

In your team discuss the following and then write a response using the comments link.

1. How have you seen technology being used in your school? Discuss how you have used it in your curriculum with students as well as for productivity or classroom management. How have other teachers used technology as a tool to enhance their curriculum?

2. What are some of the practical and realistic goals you see need to be put into our plan? Consider each section including curriculum, hardware, finance and professional development. What should our focus be? That means how should our tech plan merge into your site or the district plans for curriculum?

School Reports

Each school needs to write a short report on Technology Integration at their school. Be sure to cover the following:

Number of classrooms and labs with computers (number of rooms) (number of computers) - to do this simply check the inventory database and then walk around and add notes to count changes

Number of teachers using technology in their curriculum (note: not teaching about technology but using technology to enhance existing standards based curriculum) - include a comment our two about what they are doing
